A boy, who had a soul

Somewhere in the distant small planet there was a boy, who had a soul. Strange people lived in this planet, they hadn’t eyes; they followed some plan in their minds: they went from one point to another one, following the path of least resistance, they bought some things, ate and actually talked to each other sometimes. But after sunset they became a monsters, they needed blood and flesh. All these people hadn’t souls.
A boy, who had a soul, lived among them. He had a fair hair and blue eyes. He managed without friends and relatives, and he didn’t want to interfere in monsters’ lives. He lived alone in a small house and every night he hid from these people.
But one night monsters burst into his house, trying to eat him. They stretched their long arms for his eyes, yelling and hissing. He was very frightened, seeing his reflection in their empty dark eyeholes. Having regained consciousness, the boy tried to put up resistance to them, but there was only one thing he could do: to run. The boy suspected, if he ran to the West, the sun would never set. But it was impossible to win the darkness, the speed of men's running is too low. The boy was running and running, resisting the tiredness and fear. He had mixed feelings: he wanted to save himself from these monsters, but also he couldn’t see the point of his efforts, understanding that he was doomed. So he ran all day long, but soon the twilight came and the sun began going down. Everything was vainly… The starless night came, and the monsters came out. They caught up with the boy very quickly, and soon they surrounded him. There was no escape…

Don’t try to be another one, you would be gobbled. The crowd doesn't like bright colors.

He was very frightened, seeing (too many participial phrases) reflection in their empty dark eyeholes. Having regained consciousness, the boy tried to put up resistance to them, but there was only one thing he could do: to run. The boy suspected, if he ran to the West, the sun would never set. So , he ran all day long, but soon the twilight came and the sun began going down. Everything was vainly… The starless night came, and the monsters came out. They caught up with the boy very quickly, and soon they surrounded him. There was no escape…

Don’t try to be another one, person, you would be gobbled. The crowd doesn't like bright colors.
